Commuter trains planned twixt Hamilton and Auckland for Rugby World Cup games

Waikato rail advocates will see commuter rail between Auckland and Hamilton sooner than expected and average loadings per trip could be exceptional!  KiwiRail TransScenic have announced they will run trains from Auckland to Hamilton for three World Rugby Cup games. They are still negotiation with Auckland Transport and suburban rail operator Veolia to run trains in the opposite direction, to access Auckland stations and run trains from Hamilton to Auckland which will host seven games
